HELP INSTITUTE, KUALA LUMPUR

The first FFF screening was held at HELP Institute in Kuala Lumpur in 2004 during which we showcased films produced by KOMAS and partners around the region, and launched our first call for entries for our film competition. The first Justin Louis Awards were given out to participants in the student, amateur, and professional categories.

Amateur Category:

  • Sex Education in Malaysia; Are we doing enough?:  Lydia Lubon & Ahmad Yasid (1st Prize Winner)
  • 2020 : Sam Hui (1st runner-up)
  • At The First Glance : Azram Norhakim (2nd runner-up)

Professional Category:

  • The Big Durian: Amir Muhammad (1st Prize Winner)
  • Classroom : Ho Yu Hang (1st runner-up)
  • Moris Rasik :  Haanim Bamadhaj (2nd runner-up)

Jury Prize:
